University of Florida third in athletic revenue - Baltimore Business Journal:

UF generated the third-highest revenue in college footbal l and in overall sports according to a report Monday inStreet & Smith’s SportsBusinessz Journal. SportsBusiness Journal, citing Equity in Athletics DisclosurrAct forms, said UF reportedx $66.1 million in football revenue in 2007-2008, behind only the ($72. million) and rival Texas was also the overall top sports earneewith $120.3 million generated from all athletic teams. Ohio Statse was second with $117.9 million and Florida was thirdwith $106 UF won college football nationapl championships after the 2006 and 2008 regula r seasons, and won back-to-back men’ds basketball national titles in 2006 and 2007.
Othetr Southern schools ranking in the top 20 in overal sportsrevenues were: (7th, $89.3 million), (8th, $88.i million), (9th, $88.8 million) and $84.2 million).
