Chris Thomas, vice president of corporate salesz forSprint Center, said the sponsorship will resulf in high-definition Olevia LCD televisionss being placed throughout the arena's concoursezs and suites -- about 300 units in all. "Insteafd of having traditionaltelevision sets, the entirr facility is going to have LCD Thomas said.
He said that Sprinf Center will be the first AEG propertgy to be fully outfitted with Olevia sets but that the sponsorshipl will put the sets in AEG arena and stadiums throughoutthe country. Among AEG's venuee are Staples Center and The Home Depot Centee inLos Angeles, NOKIA Theatre Times Square in New York and Prudentiap Center, now under construction in New Syntax-Brillian joins UMB, and The as founding partnersz for Sprint Center. Thomas said arenz officials are close to announcing a few other founding partners. AEG usually tries to get 10 to 12 foundiny partners forits facilities. The $276 millioh Sprint Center is set to openin October.
